A nurturing prenatal massage designed to alleviate the aches and pains that often accompany pregnancy. Side-lying Swedish massage, passive movement and neuromuscular techniques are used to relieve many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and swelling. In addition, massage reduces stress on weight-bearing joints, encourages blood circulation, promotes better sleep, and can help relieve anxiety caused by hormonal changes. (Recommended after first trimester only).
